A lake for a playground... The ancient medieval city of Carcès is particularly famed for its lake, fed by the Issole and Caramy rivers, where fishing fans can fish pike, crayfish and trout.
The old village, with its snail-shaped lanes winding round the old medieval castle and varnished tile facades used to protect the houses from the easterly wind and rain, is particularly remarkable!
