The six-hectare Conservatoire de l'olivier brings together more than 78 varieties of olive trees and other Mediterranean species such as cistus. It offers an attractive botanical circuit on its terraced terraces.
Located on the six-hectare Grande Cabane site in the hills above Baudouvin, the Conservatoire variétal de l'olivier was created in 1995.
Over 78 varieties of olive trees and many other species typical of Mediterranean culture, such as the almond tree, can be discovered here.
The Conservatory also boasts several carefully restored buildings representative of the local built heritage:
- a cade oven,
- a lime kiln
- a well,
- an oratory dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist
- a mill,
- a charcoal kiln.
