EBASM, Municipal School of Fine Arts of La Seyne-sur-Mer, is a public artistic education establishment where amateur practices and preparation for higher education are combined.
Since 2024, EBASM has been a member of the APPEA network, National Association of Public Preparations for Higher Art Schools.
The Public PREPARATORY CLASS is aimed at post-baccalaureate students. Admission follows an interview around the candidate's motivations and artistic record. Registration requests (excluding Parcoursup) are available from March. The training course runs from September to the end of May and prepares students for competitive examinations for higher education in the arts.
The school aims to introduce people to all practices in the plastic and visual arts. The teaching team offers disciplinary, transversal, academic or experimental learning. Technical and theoretical lessons offer students the opportunity to discover several formal and sensitive languages ​​favoring a gradual entry into the practice of research.
EBASM also places its actions within the framework of Artistic and Cultural Education (EAC). Workshop sessions over several weeks are offered to schools, nurseries and various childcare facilities in the city. Many children can thus benefit from in-depth artistic education.
The municipal school of fine arts has become one of the main cultural players in the city by engaging in these systems for many years.
