Ranked as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages (Plus Beaux Villages de France), Gassin is set on a steep hill overlooking magnificent landscapes of vineyards and forests. Its steep streets, lined with colourful houses, make for delightful and relaxed strolls.
The fortified Terrace des Barris, planted with veteran hackberry trees, offers wonderful 360° views stretching from the Iles d'Or (Golden Islands) to the Alps.
It is good to stroll through its sloping alleys lined with colorful houses. You will discover the Androuno, the smallest street in the world, the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church of the 16th century, the historic heart of the 13th century. A very beautiful picturesque village.

The reputation of the village is ensured by its exceptional producers with ten wine estates, including one classified growth and three areas in organic farming (Barbeyrolles, Bertaud-Belieu, Bourrian, Cap Saint-Pierre, Chausse, Minuty, La Rouillère, Tropez, as well as Carteyron and Fossati, marketed by Les Maîtres Vignerons de la Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez), an olive-growing estate, the Domaine de Val de Bois, a soap factory and the Maison des Confitures.
