When history meets gastronomy! This is the promise of a guided tour with local flavours. During a stroll, the secrets of the history of Roquebrun's heritage are revealed to the most curious. Tasting breaks are planned.
Narrow streets. Fountains with old-world charm where locals gather. A wash house, a former vestige of the 20th century, keeps in memory the worn hands of women washing clothes. In the distance, the Clock Tower, symbol of the expansion of Roquebrune, sounds meal time.
During a guided walk, Roquebrune reveals its secrets to the most curious. The Maison du Patrimoine, with its authentic 17th century ice house, is a journey through Roquebrun times. The Maison du Chocolat et du Cacao is a return to childhood with its exhibition of old objects illustrating cocoa, from its origins to the present day.
All these discoveries around heritage are punctuated by gourmet breaks to regain strength. Local flavors are highlighted depending on the season: chocolate, honey, spreads, etc.
Detailed program of the walk:
> 2h30 guided walk, with a visit to the Maison du Chocolat et Cacao, the Maison du Patrimoine, the parish church, and the emblematic streets of the village.
> Tastings of chocolates and local products at the Maison du Terroir.
