Presentation

The creator of the real Tarte Tropézienne "often imitated, never equaled".
Alexandre Micka opened a pastry shop in the Place de la Mairie in Saint-Tropez in 1955. He offers a cream brioche inspired by his grandmother's recipe, the secret of which he jealously guards.
During this same period, the filming of the mythical film “And God Created Woman” took place.
The pastry shop regularly welcomes the film crew who discover this cream brioche. It is Brigitte Bardot who would have given the real name to this pastry: the Tarte Tropézienne was born…
In 1962, Alexandre Micka opened a laboratory in Cogolin, rue Beausoleil, to increase his production capacity.
Since then, the famous Saint-Tropez tart has been produced... in Cogolin!
