Village perched between heaven and earth
Perched between heaven and earth at an altitude of 814 metres, Mons is a veritable little corner of paradise. It seems to spring from a rocky spur, whose colours it matches. The view from this vantage point is magnificent: the green hills of the Pays de Fayence and the Estérel massifcontrast with the blue of the Fréjus - Saint-Raphaël bay. And, weather permitting, you can even see Corsica!
As you stroll through this "Village de Caractère", you'll be seduced by the charm of its centuries-old houses, most of them built of dry stone. And if you'd like to find out what life is like in one of Provence's hilltop villages, just open the door of the "Maison Monsoise".
