Set between wooded hills and an agricultural plain, this beautiful village is typical of the hilltop villages of Provence. Its silhouette has retained its medieval character and the appearance of the fortified villages of Haute Provence. It is built in a fan-shape, with winding streets and narrow houses squeezed around the magnificent (privately-owned) château and church. The view over the vast Durance plain stretches as far as the Canjuers plateau. Simply superb.
