Bistrot de Pays, a label that celebrates rural life!

For over 30 years, the " bistrot de pays " label has been fervently defending bistros in rural communities with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants. These establishments, which are the guarantors of social cohesion, passionately distil the know-how and expertise that has sometimes been passed down from generation to generation.

These small restaurants have nothing to envy the larger ones, both in terms of taste and the little touches that make them more than just stopovers, but destinations in their own right.

Conviviality, authenticity, solidarity: these are the mottos of this label, which strongly supports independent bistro owners in the heart of the most confidential villages in every corners of France.

Le Bistrot de Riboux

In the village of Riboux, the town's only bistro is a haven of peace, where you can warm your taste buds in the large, bright dining room, or enjoy a bite to eat with friends in the middle of the pine forest.

At the foot of the Sainte-Baume, this traditional address pays tribute to the standards of Provençal cuisine, as well as to deliciously old-fashioned recipes such as pieds paquets or veal kidneys in Madeira.

Riboux may be the 4th most sparsely populated village in the Var, but this bistro-style restaurant has a following far beyond its borders. Enthusiasts of vintage cars, horse-riding, motorbikes and ramblers flock here every weekend to sample this art of living, where rural life goes hand in hand with conviviality.
