Fête des santons à La Cadière d'Azur

Mimosa and corsos in bloom

From January to March, the valleys, hills and gardens of the Côte d'Azur are covered in mimosa. Make the most of the winter holidays to come and admire these magnificent landscapes. Its bright yellow beads, intoxicating fragrance and downy feel are incomparable. A symbol of winter, standing out against the blue sky, the mimosa offers itself to visitors in the hills, along the roadsides, visiting the forceries or on the floats of the corsos fleuris.

Corsos in bloom take place from February to April. They mark the end of winter. Fanfares, folk groups and costumed characters accompany the parade of floats. Multicoloured carnations, mimosa and many other cut flowers adorn the floats. A flower fight always brings the festivities to a close!
